Personal data collected
Through this website only the data you voluntarily provide in the contact form is collected: first name, last name, email, phone and the message you choose to write.
In the course of in-person medical care, sensitive personal data concerning your health is also collected, as required to maintain the clinical record under Mexican Official Standard NOM-004-SSA3-2012. Such data enjoys reinforced protection and its processing is strictly limited to the purposes of medical care.
Purposes of processing
Primary purposes, necessary to the relationship: responding to your request for information, scheduling and confirming appointments, creating and keeping the clinical record, providing post-operative follow-up, issuing reports and prescriptions, and complying with health and tax obligations.
Secondary purposes, which are not necessary: sending you information about the practice's services or content. You may object to these secondary purposes at any time by writing to info@neurocirujanotijuana.com, without any effect on your medical care.
Data transfers
Your data is not sold, rented or shared for commercial purposes. It may only be transferred where indispensable to your own care: to the hospitals where a procedure is performed, to consulting physicians involved in your case, to the laboratories and imaging centres performing your studies, and to health authorities where the law requires it.
Where a transfer requires your consent under the law, it will be requested expressly and in writing.
ARCO rights
You may at any time request access to, rectification, cancellation of, or object to the processing of your personal data, and revoke consent previously given. Requests should be sent to info@neurocirujanotijuana.com and include your full name, a means of replying to you, a clear description of the data concerned, and a document proving your identity.
A response will be given within the periods set out in law. Note that clinical records must be kept for a minimum of five years under NOM-004-SSA3-2012, so cancellation of clinical data may be limited by that legal obligation.

You may block or delete cookies from your browser settings without affecting how the site works.
Important notice about medical content
The information published on this site is informative and educational. It does not constitute a diagnosis, does not replace an in-person medical consultation, and must not be used to self-diagnose or to start or stop treatment.
In a neurological emergency — loss of consciousness, the worst headache of your life, sudden one-sided weakness, difficulty speaking, a seizure, or loss of bladder control with back pain — go to the nearest emergency department immediately. Never send an emergency by email or through this site's form.

This privacy notice may be amended to reflect legal changes or changes in the practice's procedures. Any amendment will be published on this same page, with the update date visible at the top.
